Wiring Harness Design Engineer (LV/HV) – EV Battery Pack
Permanent role in Pune for a 2–5 years engineer to design and develop low-voltage wiring harnesses for high-voltage EV battery pack applications, including HV wiring integration. The engineer will create circuit schematics and 2D drawings in CHS Logic/CHS XC, perform harness routing and packaging studies in CATIA (or equivalent), select and size harness components, and prepare/verify LV/HV BOMs with cost-optimization alternatives. The role also focuses on protection concepts (abrasion, thermal, sealing, EMC, environmental durability) and ensuring design quality and compliance with manufacturing and automotive standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams for validation and manufacturing readiness.

Create circuit schematics and 2D drawings using CHS Logic and CHS XC software.

Select and size LV electrical components including wires, connectors, terminals, relays, fuses and protection materials.

Prepare and verify LV/HV BOMs and recommend alternate materials and cost optimization opportunities.

Perform harness routing reviews, packaging studies and bundle optimization using CATIA or equivalent 3D CAD tools.

Define and implement LV harness protection concepts for battery pack applications.

Ensure abrasion resistance, thermal protection, EMC compliance, sealing, mechanical protection and environmental durability requirements are met.
