Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing.

Every role at Ubique contributes directly to solving meaningful business challenges for our clients.

01

WiFi firmware development – driver, TCP/IP networking (lwIP/Zephyr/net stack/TLS/MQTT) in embedded environment.

02

Implement and validate WPA2/WPA3-Personal security modes, Protected Management Frames (802.11w) implementation.

03

WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise (802.1X/EAP-TLS) – ownership from supplicant configuration to certification.

04

Strong proficiency in embedded WiFi firmware development: WiFi driver and wpa_supplicant/hostap integration, and TCP/IP networking (lwIP/Zephyr net stack, TLS, MQTT) on resource-constrained devices.

05

In-depth knowledge of WiFi security and association mechanics: WPA2/WPA3-Personal (SAE), transition mode, PMF (802.11w), 4-way handshake, and scan/connect/reconnect behavior; hands-on WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise (802.1X/EAP-TLS) experience strongly preferred.

06

Demonstrated experience debugging AP vendor interoperability issues (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus) using wireless packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark or specialized sniffer equipment).

07

Familiarity with enterprise/managed network environments (VLANs, RADIUS, captive portals, client isolation); healthcare IT environments a plus.

08

Understanding of BLE/WiFi 2.4 GHz coexistence mechanisms and RF fundamentals.

09

Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with assembly language.

10

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) programming and debug; Zephyr experience preferred.

11

Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).

12

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
