Warehouse OT/IT Integration Engineer (Warehouse Technology)

Project Delivery & Enablement – Lead delivery and enablement of OT and IT technical components for new warehouses, customer implementations, continuous improvement, innovation projects, and operational stabilization within the assigned geographic territory.

Solution Design & Industrial Integration – Design practical OT integration architectures and end-to-end solutions that connect warehouse devices, automation systems, control platforms, networks, compute/edge services, WMS/YMS applications, and enterprise digital platforms.

Work Package Development & Execution – Create detailed work packages, define scope and task breakdowns, coordinate execution teams, and guide delivery through configuration, testing, commissioning, hypercare, and handover.

Governance, Cybersecurity & Standards – Ensure Maersk technology governance, frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and OT-specific control requirements are understood, applied, and effectively implemented.

Vendor, Device & Supplier Evaluation – Evaluate device and vendor fit, provide technical input to procurement and vendor management, and share feedback on supplier performance, supportability, and sourcing alternatives.

Testing, Troubleshooting & L3 Support – Coordinate troubleshooting, lead, define and validate integration testing across technical and non-technical teams; provide occasional L3 expert support for operational incidents and complex run issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with project managers, operations managers, industrial engineering, IT, local technology support, cybersecurity, suppliers, and business stakeholders to align technology execution with operational needs.

Documentation, Training & Knowledge Transfer – Develop technical documentation, implementation guidance, operational handover material, and training for technical and non-technical teams supporting warehouse devices and integration solutions.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Reliability – Identify opportunities to improve automation availability, device reliability, integration performance, cost efficiency, and long-term supportability while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications
Warehouse OT device integration (RF/handheld scanners, rugged computers/tablets, label printers/print services, RFID)
Warehouse technology implementation delivery (new sites/warehouses, customer implementations, stabilization)
Integration of industrial automation/control systems with operational/enterprise platforms (PLC, SCADA, HMI; connectivity to WMS/YMS/MES)
WMS/YMS integration exposure (explicitly Manhattan SCALE and Körber/HighJump mentioned)
OT network design/implementation and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, WiFi/wireless surveys, edge connectivity)
Industrial communication/integration patterns (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT)
API-based integration and data flows between OT/automation and enterprise platforms
OT cybersecurity fundamentals (network segmentation, protective controls, security-by-design) and awareness of ISA/IEC 62443
Work package creation/execution; coordination through configuration, testing, commissioning, hypercare, handover
Integration testing, troubleshooting, and occasional L3 support for complex incidents
English proficiency (C1 or equivalent)
