Video Conferencing Platform Specialist (Zoom & Webex) — Prototyping / Vendor Evaluation Contractor
Contract role to support vendor selection for embedded video conferencing by running discovery, technical evaluation, and proof-of-concept builds. The contractor must be hands-on with both Zoom and Webex SDKs (including embedded/custom meeting experiences) and able to deliver end-to-end prototypes across frontend, backend, infrastructure, auth, and deployment. The work includes assessing platform capabilities/limits, scalability, security, ops and licensing, and documenting recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.

Essential
Required Qualifications
Hands-on implementation experience with Zoom SDKs and embedded/custom meeting experiences
Hands-on implementation experience with Webex SDKs and embedded/custom meeting experiences
End-to-end prototyping (frontend, backend, infrastructure, authentication, deployment)
Vendor/platform evaluation and technical recommendation writing (capabilities, limitations, scalability, security, ops, licensing)
Video conferencing domain knowledge (meeting lifecycle, participant controls, chat, screen sharing, recordings, moderation, telemetry)
Third-party integration using APIs and SDKs
OAuth and JWT-based authentication/authorization
Webhook/event-driven integration patterns
Rapid prototyping and iteration in exploratory/evolving requirements
Technical documentation and stakeholder communication (trade-offs, risks, recommendations)

Defining integration architectures for embedded SaaS products
