Vehicle Crashworthiness CAE Engineer (LS-DYNA)
Hire a 7–12 years Vehicle Crashworthiness CAE engineer in Pune for permanent role, focused on full-vehicle crash simulation using LS-DYNA (or equivalent). FE model building of full vehicle model for crash analysis at various phases of product development.

Provide feedback and design guidelines to design teams based on crash simulations

Engineering of structure for meeting crashworthiness targets using CAE tools like LS-DYNA

Create analysis report to highlight current status of performance target achievement and improvement required in the design if targets are not met.

Provide countermeasures to meet target crash performance (BNCAP and Euro NCAP requirements) under the guidance of CAE Project Manager and interactions with TMPVL counterparts.

Essential
Required Qualifications
7–12 years experience in vehicle crashworthiness CAE
Crash simulation using LS-DYNA (or equivalent explicit crash solver)
Full vehicle crash simulation model assembly, run, and post-processing
FE model building for full vehicle crash analysis across product development phases
Vehicle structure engineering for high-speed offset frontal impact, side impact, rear impact and BIW strength/safety analyses
Provide design guidelines/countermeasures based on crash simulation results
Create crash analysis reports showing target achievement and required improvements
Understanding of crash safety requirements/regulations and strong engineering fundamentals
Experience with Euro NCAP and GNCAP load cases and protocols (and BNCAP mentioned)
Achieving correlation between simulation model and physical test
Develop and supervise component tests for CAE correlation
Issue modelling guidelines to FE modelling team
Full vehicle knowledge / vehicle structural crashworthiness
Preferred
Nice to Have
Experience working with a CAE Project Manager and cross-site counterparts (e.g., TMPVL interactions)
Experience specifically with BNCAP requirements (explicitly mentioned alongside Euro NCAP)
