Techno-Functional Business Analyst (HR/Learning Systems Transformation)

Degree in a relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice, or equivalent practical experience.

Substantial hands-on techno-functional business analysis experience within a global organisation, including significant transformation or enterprise SaaS programmes.

Proven experience selecting and applying appropriate business analysis approaches based on complexity, risk, assumptions, constraints and dependencies.

Advanced requirements elicitation and management skills, including requirements planning, prioritisation, approval, traceability, change control, testing and validation.

Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements covering process, configuration, integration, data, security, access, user experience and acceptance criteria.

Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including work with senior stakeholders.

Experience analysing current and future-state processes, identifying capability gaps and shaping practical improvement opportunities.

Experience supporting solution evaluation, business readiness and benefits definition and realisation.

Experience working effectively in virtual, geographically dispersed and matrix teams.

Techno-functional business analysis experience in a global organisation

Experience supporting transformation or enterprise SaaS programmes

Ability to select and apply appropriate BA approaches based on complexity, risk, assumptions, constraints and dependencies

Advanced requirements elicitation and requirements management (planning, prioritisation, approval, traceability, change control, testing/validation)

Ability to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements (process, configuration, integration, data, security, access, UX, acceptance criteria)

Stakeholder engagement, facilitation, presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing (including senior stakeholders)

Current-state and future-state process analysis; capability gap analysis and improvement shaping

Solution evaluation support; business readiness; benefits definition and realisation support

Ability to work effectively in virtual, geographically dispersed, matrix teams

Strong planning/organisation and accountability for high-quality analytical deliverables and deadlines

Demonstrated ability to use AI-enabled tools and automation responsibly to improve analysis productivity/insight/requirements quality/decision making

Experience working in a pharmaceutical, life sciences or other regulated environment

Practical experience of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches

HR technology or learning ecosystem transformation experience; familiarity with HR/learning SaaS products (e.g., Workday HCM, payroll, talent acquisition, learning)
