Technical Vertical PMO / Cross-functional Technical Coordinator (SAP S/4HANA Program)

Contract role in Paris (occasional remote) providing cross-functional support to the Technical Vertical Manager of an SAP S/4HANA (S4PHIR) program. The consultant consolidates and secures the technical trajectory across architecture, integration, infrastructure, security/authorizations, data/analytics, interfaces, testing, operability, failover and run transition. Key responsibilities include consolidating schedules and dependencies, maintaining RAID registers (risks/alerts/issues/decisions/actions), preparing arbitration/decision packs, coordinating technical lot/domain pilots, ensuring quality and completeness of technical deliverables, and supporting deployment, cutover/failover and transition to operational maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing.

The CONTRACTOR does not carry out the individual evaluation of pilots and does not exercise any hierarchical responsibility towards them.

The HOLDER prepares, organises and, on delegation from the Head of the Technical Vertical, leads the operational bodies of the Technical Vertical.

The materials and reports are submitted to the Technical Vertical Manager for validation in accordance with the terms and conditions defined by the COMPANY.

The CONTRACTOR builds and maintains the consolidated schedule of the Technical Vertical from the elements produced by the Technical Lot Pilots and the Technical Area Pilots.

The CONTRACTOR prepares a gap analysis and proposes measures to secure the overall trajectory of the Technical Vertical.

The HOLDER maintains a consolidated register of risks, alerts, problems, assumptions, actions and decisions of the Technical Vertical.

It is based on information provided by Technical Lot Pilots, Technical Area Pilots and other Program stakeholders.

The CONTRACTOR identifies cross-functional risks and risks likely to affect several lots or technical areas.

The HOLDER alerts the Technical Vertical Manager in a factual manner and at an early stage. It prepares, when necessary, treatment options and associated recommendations.

The HOLDER prepares the files necessary for the decisions of the Head of the Technical Vertical or for the arbitrations of the Program's bodies.

Required Qualifications

Cross-functional technical management (expert level)

Program/portfolio coordination across multiple technical workstreams

SAP S/4HANA knowledge (expert level)

Schedule consolidation (milestones, dependencies, critical path, variance tracking)

RAID management (risks, issues/alerts, assumptions, decisions, actions)

Preparation of arbitration/decision files (options, impacts, recommendation)

Technical governance facilitation (agendas, minutes, action tracking)

Coordination for testing, deployment and failover/cutover readiness

Transition to operations/operability preparation (runbooks, procedures, handover)

Quality control of technical deliverables (completeness, coherence, on-time delivery)
