Essential
Required Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
Strong knowledge of Ind AS and differences between IFRS and Ind AS
Ability to apply accounting standards and independently execute Ind AS engagements
Research and resolve complex technical accounting issues using technical literature
Prepare Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP compliant financial statements (including consolidated financial statements)
Audit experience of financial statements under Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP
Knowledge of applicable laws/regulations and ability to stay current with new pronouncements (Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP)
Exposure to Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
ERP exposure (SAP / S/4HANA / Oracle / MS Dynamics or similar)
Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) to work with high volumes of data and present insights
Experience with Ind AS/IFRS/US GAAP implementation and/or advisory/testing in areas such as hedge accounting and ECL (Ind AS 109 / IFRS 9)
Prepare accounting whitepapers and/or diagnostic reports
Majority sector exposure across Banks, NBFCs, and/or Fintech companies
Preferred

Exposure/knowledge of US GAAP (explicitly stated as an advantage)
Exposure to SOX compliance
Knowledge/experience with COSO framework
