Systems Developer (Java, CI/CD, Biometric Systems, EU Information Systems)
The Swedish Police Authority is seeking a senior Systems Developer (contract) to develop, further develop, integrate, test and manage complex IT systems. The role focuses on translating operational/technical requirements into technical solutions and Java code, working end-to-end across development and system management, including CI/CD, troubleshooting, bug fixing, quality assurance and integrations. Candidates must be fluent in Swedish, have long-term hands-on Java and CI/CD experience, and proven delivery within EU large-scale information systems (e.g., SIS/VIS/Eurodac/ETIAS/EES/ECRIS-TCN) plus experience developing systems and hardware-related software for biometric equipment. The consultant must have good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of documented experience working as a systems developer. The experience must have been acquired within the last 15 years.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of practical experience in CI/CD.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of practical experience working in the Java language.

The consultant must have at least 4 years of practical experience in system development within the following European information systems/projects: IO/EES-ETIAS/ECRIS-TCN/SIS/VIS/Eurodac.

The consultant must have at least 4 years of practical experience in developing systems and hardware-related software for biometric equipment.
