System Developer (Data Warehouse/BI & On-Prem Data Platform)

Contract assignment in Stockholm for the Swedish Police Authority seeking a senior System Developer to manage and further develop existing Data Warehouse and BI solutions and contribute to building a new on-premise data platform. The role covers SAP BusinessObjects administration, ETL/ELT development and troubleshooting (SSIS, SAP Data Services, proprietary frameworks), advanced SQL and database performance tuning, plus real-time/streaming pipelines with Kafka. For the Police Authority, we are looking for a System Developer who will be responsible for the development, management and further development of the authority's existing Data Warehouse and BI solutions, as well as for contributing to the development of a new on-premise data platform.

The assignment includes, among other things

Management of existing DataWarehouse and BI solutions

comparisons of reports and metrics between SAP Business Objects and other BI tools

troubleshooting and adaptation of ETL-ELT pipelines in existing DataWarehouse solutions using SSIS, SAP Data Services and the agency's own ETL-ELT framework

troubleshooting and fixing real-time data streams and transformations

advanced troubleshooting and correction of data sets in DataWarehouse

further development of management processes

Further development of existing DataWarehouse solution

data modeling and design of solutions within the DW area

development of ETL-ELT pipelines in existing DataWarehouse solutions using SSIS and proprietary ETL-ELT frameworks

Required Qualifications

SAP BusinessObjects administration (5+ years)

ETL/ELT development with SAP Data Services (5+ years)

ETL/ELT development with SSIS (5+ years)

Built proprietary/custom ETL/ELT frameworks for at least two customers

Advanced SQL (10+ years)

Kafka real-time integrations in on-premises environment (1+ year)

Git (2+ years)

Data warehouse/data platform design across multiple industries (public and private)

ETL/ELT development in large organizations (1000+ employees) including at least one public authority

Leading workshops with business and IT stakeholders

ETL/ELT with relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

ETL/ELT development with Python

Database performance optimization for OLAP reads and OLTP writes

Swedish language proficiency (spoken and written)
