Experience with manual and automated software testing for Windows desktop-based applications (e.g., TRIOS or similar complex analytical/instrumentation software).

Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, embedded platforms, or IoT devices.

Proven ability to validate end-to-end systems spanning hardware and software.

Experience with test automation and scripting (Python strongly preferred).

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across hardware–software boundaries.

Comfort working in a lab environment with physical devices or instruments.

Essential
Required Qualifications
5+ years in system testing, validation, or quality engineering for complex products
IoT device testing experience
Hands-on testing on Linux-based systems and/or embedded platforms
Windows desktop application testing (manual and automated)
End-to-end system validation across hardware and software (firmware to client apps)
Test automation and scripting with Python
Automation frameworks (Pytest and/or Robot Framework)
UI automation with Selenium or Playwright using Python
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis across hardware–software boundaries
Comfort working in a lab with physical devices/instruments

Analytical instrumentation domain exposure/interest
Networking fundamentals and TCP/IP knowledge
Interfacing with embedded devices
Testing web applications, APIs, and backend services
Desktop UI automation tools (WinAppDriver, TestComplete)

Docker / containerized deployments
