Senior Systems Developer (Java, CI/CD, EU Information Systems, Biometrics)

Contract assignment with the Swedish Police Authority in Norrköping (on-site at least 3 days/week) for a senior systems developer to develop, integrate, test, troubleshoot and manage complex IT systems. The consultant will translate operational/technical requirements into technical design and Java code, work with CI/CD, integrations and quality assurance, and support both new development and ongoing system management. Mandatory requirements include Swedish language proficiency, long-term hands-on Java and CI/CD experience, experience with specific EU information systems (e.g., SIS/VIS/Eurodac/ETIAS/EES/ECRIS-TCN), and development of hardware-related software for biometric equipment; security-screened environment may apply.

For our client, the Swedish Police Authority, we are looking for a consultant for the assignment below

The role includes developing, integrating, testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance of software, as well as performing bug fixes and other system management activities. The work may also include further development and adaptation of existing systems during the systems' management period.

The work is conducted in complex development environments and can include both new development and management of existing systems.

The consultant must have good ability to express themselves verbally and in writing in Swedish.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of documented experience working as a systems developer. The experience must have been acquired within the last 15 years.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of practical experience in CI/CD.

The consultant must have at least 10 years of practical experience working in the Java language.

The consultant must have at least 4 years of practical experience in system development within the following European information systems/projects: IO/EES-ETIAS/ECRIS-TCN/SIS/VIS/Eurodac.

The consultant must have at least 4 years of practical experience in developing systems and hardware-related software for biometric equipment

The consultant should have experience working in security-classified operations.

The consultant should have experience working in the legal system.

The consultant should have experience working in the public sector.

Swedish language (verbal and written)

Systems development in complex environments

Java (10+ years practical experience)

Experience in EU information systems/projects: IO, EES-ETIAS, ECRIS-TCN, SIS, VIS, Eurodac (4+ years)

Development of systems and hardware-related software for biometric equipment (4+ years)

Software integration between systems
