Senior System Developer (Java) – Identity Management / eID (Swedish Police Authority)
Senior Java system developer needed for the Swedish Police Authority (Personal Documents / Electronic Identification) to develop, enhance and manage identity management systems and services, including PID/LPID and technical enablers for the European Digital Identity Wallet. You will work end-to-end across the system lifecycle in an agile team: requirements analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. The environment uses microservices, containers and automated CI/CD. Strong security focus is required (OIDC/OAuth2), along with Linux-based Java development, Spring Boot and Jenkins-based pipelines. Swedish citizenship and strong Swedish language skills are mandatory due to security screening.

The consultant must have at least 9 years of relevant work experience in system development in Java on the Linux platform.

The consultant should have at least 3 years of experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks.

The consultant should have at least 2 years of experience in microservices architecture.

The consultant should have at least 2 years of experience implementing security solutions previously based on OIDC/OAuth2.

The consultant must have at least 3 years of experience with CI/CD on Jenkins, for example with tools/platforms such as Bitbucket and Openshift or equivalent.

The consultant must have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The consultant must have Swedish citizenship.

The consultant should have good experience working with electronic attribute certificates.

Required Qualifications
Java system development on Linux (senior level; 9+ years)
Spring Boot (3+ years)
Microservices architecture (2+ years)
Security implementation using OIDC and/or OAuth2 (2+ years)
CI/CD with Jenkins (3+ years)
Experience with tools/platforms such as Bitbucket and OpenShift (or equivalent) in CI/CD context
Agile software development (working in an agile team)
Requirements analysis and translating business/system requirements into technical solutions
Full software lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, bug fixing, further development
Technical documentation and knowledge transfer
Swedish language (spoken and written)
