Senior System Developer – Java Backend (Jakarta EE, Microservices)
Senior Java backend consultant needed for the Swedish Courts Administration in Jönköping (contract, 100%, hybrid 2 days/week remote within Sweden). You will work in an agile team enhancing and developing mission-critical web applications, initially focused on subsystems for search functionality (search cases). The backend is built with Java 21 and Jakarta EE in a microservice-based architecture; you will contribute to solution decomposition/planning, implement and test code (unit/integration/load), and support DevOps-style automation using tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube and Docker. Several years of documented experience with Jakarta EE (including JPA, EJB and REST) in larger web applications.

Several years of documented experience in Microservice-based architecture

Experience with container technology, for example with Docker.

Experience with IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins, Git and SonarQube

Experience with systems with high demands on security, authorization, traceability and availability.

High level of collaboration, communicative, responsible, structured and good problem-solving skills

Experience in a role as lead developer or equivalent

Experience with legacy systems based on Java (e.g. JSP, javascript)

Experience with load and performance testing (e.g. Grafana k6).

Experience in monitoring and supervision

Experience in frontend development, for example with Angular.
