Senior Software Build Engineer (Build Specialist)
Senior Software Build Engineer/Build Specialist to join a greenhouse engineering team (6–8 people) to design, develop, and implement build solutions aligned to requirements and roadmap. The role owns preparation and execution of technical work packages, with responsibility for build quality and planning. Strong Bazel expertise is mandatory (rules/macros/platforms/RBE/caching/toolchains/hermetic builds), plus hands-on Go and Python, modern software engineering practices (algorithms, TDD/BDD), and automated integration/release processes (e.g., GitHub Actions) with strong Git/SCM knowledge.

Essential
Required Qualifications
8+ years experience in software development and build management
Bazel development experience (mandatory)
Bazel concepts: rules, macros, platforms, RBE (remote build execution), caching, toolchains, hermetic builds
Go programming
Python programming
Modern software design and development fundamentals (basic algorithms)
Test-driven development (TDD) and/or behavior-driven development (BDD)
Automated software integration and release processes (e.g., GitHub Actions)
SCM systems and Git (e.g., GitHub, ClearCase)
Preferred
Nice to Have
C/C++ software development
Rust development experience
Algorithms and compilers knowledge
