Senior SOC Expert (N3) / Senior Cybersecurity Analyst – Akamai, Splunk, XDR
Senior N3 SOC expert needed on a contract basis in Paris (occasional remote) to handle complex security incidents and improve operational detection/response in a hybrid environment (cloud, on-prem, outsourced). The role focuses on advanced investigations, threat hunting, compromise/kill-chain analysis (MITRE ATT&CK), and tuning/optimizing Akamai application protection (WAF, Anti-Bot, DDoS) plus endpoint XDR/EDR (Tehtris and/or Trellix). Strong Splunk SIEM skills (SPL, correlation, dashboards) and some Elastic/Kibana are expected, along with the ability to work autonomously, document clearly, and coordinate with SOC, infra, network, app, architecture, and business teams.

MITRE ATT&CK knowledge and application
Akamai security expertise (WAF, Anti-Bot, DDoS)
Akamai incident investigation and security log analysis
WAF rules management and optimization
Anti-Bot configuration and tuning; malicious bot detection
DDoS protection operations
Detection of scraping and credential stuffing; attack pattern analysis
EDR/XDR advanced alert investigation
Operational experience with Tehtris XDR and/or Trellix
Behavioral analysis and suspicious execution investigation
Lateral movement detection
Tuning/configuration of detection rules
Splunk SIEM (advanced SPL investigations)
