Senior Python Software Engineer (Azure, Serverless, Data Flow)
Contract role in Wroclaw for a senior Python engineer (5–7 years) to build cloud-native solutions on Azure. The focus is on production-quality Python services with PostgreSQL, DevOps/CI/CD (ideally GitLab pipelines), and event-driven/serverless architecture using Azure Functions and messaging (Azure Service Bus or equivalent). The engineer will also work on data-flow engineering (ingestion/transformation/orchestration; ADF is a plus), full-text search (Azure AI Search), and apply AI-assisted development practices (GitHub Copilot/agents) with strong quality and security oversight; React UI is a plus.

strong Python and relational database experience, preferably PostgreSQL

hands-on DevOps and CI/CD experience, ideally with GitLab pipelines

knowledge of Azure Functions or similar serverless, event-driven platforms, including triggers, bindings and scaling

knowledge of Azure Service Bus or similar messaging technology, including queues, topics, publish/subscribe and error handling

strong data-flow engineering skills across ingestion, transformation and orchestration; Azure Data Factory or similar is a plus

strong AI-assisted development experience, ideally with GitHub Copilot, agents, reusable skills and effective prompting

experience with full-text search engines, including designing indexes and implementing data indexing and search using Azure AI Search
