Senior Project Manager (Feasibility Study) – Simulation & Monitoring Tools for Airport Charges

Contract assignment in Stockholm (Arlanda) for a senior project manager to lead a strategically important feasibility study on future simulation and monitoring tools supporting airport charges and incentive programs. The role sits between business and IT and covers needs analysis, requirements specification, market/system scan, solution evaluation and selection (including procurement aspects), and producing a recommendation, roadmap, and decision basis including benefits/risks/costs and governance/ownership model. As a senior project manager, you will lead a feasibility study with the aim of analyzing the business's needs, mapping possible solutions and recommending future directions.

The assignment begins with a preliminary study where analysis and investigation work will lead to a decision basis and a path forward. The decision will be decisive for how the project is subsequently planned in terms of scope, where a procurement of systems may be relevant.

The feasibility study should also include an analysis of appropriate IT support. There is a system today that can be changed and adapted, but the analysis should be expanded to include a scan of suitable tools on the market.

The feasibility study should be summarized in a recommendation before a decision is made. If the decision is to start a project, the project manager will then also implement the chosen solution.

The assignment only covers Arlanda Airport

Lead and drive the feasibility study in the interface between operations and IT.

Plan, coordinate and follow up on the work of relevant business areas and specialist functions.

Conduct a needs analysis together with the business.

Identify and evaluate alternative solutions

Analyze business benefits, risks, costs and management aspects.

Ensure support from relevant stakeholders.

Develop recommendations, roadmap and decision-making basis for continued implementation.

Established project methodologies (XLPM, PMI/PMP, IPMA or equivalent)

Leading complex business & IT projects across multiple business areas
