Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Tech Lead needed for a banking client in Helsinki (hybrid) on a full-time contract. The role is hands-on across both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) with a strong focus on UI uplift/modernization of mobile banking apps, mobile architecture (MVVM/VIPER), and quality engineering (code reviews, unit tests, UI automation). You will collaborate closely with designers, architects, and stakeholders, own end-to-end delivery through production support, and contribute to frontend/backend when needed.

For our client in the banking sector we are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Tech Lead – iOS & Android.

The consultant will be responsible for driving the UI uplift and modernization of the mobile banking applications while working hands-on with both iOS and Android development.

Lead UI improvement initiatives, ensuring a modern, consistent, and user-friendly experience across mobile platforms.

Design, develop, and maintain features for iOS and Android applications.

Collaborate with designers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Contribute to mobile architecture, technical design, and development best practices.

Ensure high quality through code reviews, unit testing, UI automation, and continuous improvement activities.

Take ownership of delivered solutions, including implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.

The consultant is expected to combine technical leadership with hands-on development and play a key role in improving the user experience of digital banking services.

7+ years of professional experience in mobile application development with a proven track record of delivering large-scale mobile solutions.

Strong expertise in either iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin), combined with strong hands-on experience in the other platform.

Experience leading or driving UI modernization, redesign, or uplift initiatives in mobile applications.
