Senior Manufacturing System Engineer (Assembly Line Engineering & Design)
Senior manufacturing system/assembly line engineering professional with 15–20 years overall experience (including 8–10+ years in assembly line engineering & design). Responsible for end-to-end assembly process engineering and line design: bill of process creation, cycle time/takt time calculations, station/workstation and line-side storage design, replenishment strategy (manual/FLT/AGV/AMR/overhead conveying), tooling/fixture and conveying system specifications, error-proofing/interlocks, FTE and utilities estimation, HSE assessment, and line layout design. Works closely with CAD and simulation teams (material flow, discrete event, ergo/station simulations), automation stakeholders (robotics/vision/AGV/AMR), and line builders/OEMs; supports commissioning/handover and provides post-deployment technical support, customer reviews, and project delivery.

8–10+ years experience in assembly line engineering & design
Assembly process engineering and Bill of Process (BoP) generation
Cycle time estimation per process/operation
Takt time estimation
Line design with correct number of stations to meet takt time
Workstation design including line-side storage for parts/tools/aids
Line-side storage trolley design
Line-side replenishment strategy design (overhead conveying/manual/FLT/AGV/AMR)
Line-side replenishment frequency estimation
Tooling, assembly aid and inspection aid specification development per station
Fixture design
Conveying system design/specification (type selection and conveyor speed)
Physical pitch calculation between workstations
Error-proofing / interlock design (poka-yoke concepts)
Manual vs automation decision-making for assembly operations
FTE estimation / manpower sizing
Utilities estimation at station level (WAGES)
