Senior Kubernetes Engineer (On-Prem, GitOps)
Senior Kubernetes Engineer needed for a contract assignment in Lund to design, provision, upgrade and scale on-prem Kubernetes clusters supporting cloud-native apps and on-prem systems. The role focuses on secure cluster operations (RBAC, network policies, admission controllers), performance tuning (CPU/memory), storage and networking (CSI/CNI), and building GitOps-based delivery pipelines (Helm, Argo CD, Flux). Design, provision, upgrade, and scale Kubernetes clusters across on-premises environments.

Configure and manage Kubernetes security controls, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), network policies, and admission controllers, to ensure secure cluster operations.

Optimize cluster performance by tuning CPU and memory allocations, managing container storage using Container Storage Interface (CSI), and configuring networking through Container Network Interface (CNI) solutions.

Build and maintain automated deployment and GitOps pipelines using tools such as Helm, Argo CD and Flux.

Implement and support monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing frameworks to ensure platform reliability and observability.

Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to drive continuous improvements in platform stability, scalability and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex Kubernetes and infrastructure-related issues.

Some work outside normal office hours will be required. As our infrastructure supports factory production environments, certain maintenance activities must be performed during planned production shutdowns to minimize business impact.
