Senior IT/OT Networking & Infrastructure Engineer

Senior IT + OT Networking & Infrastructure professional to design, deploy, and support end-to-end network architectures across IT and industrial OT environments. The role requires strong hands-on networking fundamentals (subnetting, VLANs, L2/L3, segmentation/DMZ), experience configuring network devices (Cisco plus industrial vendors like Siemens/Rockwell/Schneider), and solid understanding of PLC/Siemens-driven OT environments. The requirement is for a Senior IT + OT Networking & Infrastructure professional with strong experience across IT networking, Operational Technology (OT), and infrastructure.

Strong understanding of PLC/Siemens and OT environments is expected; this is not a typical IT networking role.

Experience: Around 8 years, with strong hands-on technical expertise.

Location: Hyderabad.

Working Hours: Approximately 10:00 AM – 7:00/7:30 PM (9 hours).

The candidate should be able to support client enablement, prepare technical documentation, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Proficiency in subnetting, VLAN design, and IP addressing schemes.

Strong understanding of Layer 2 (Ethernet/switching) and Layer 3 (routing) protocols.

Hands-on experience with network segmentation and DMZ design.

Ability to design and implement end-to-end networking architectures across both IT and OT environments.

Hands-on experience deploying and configuring switches, routers, and network appliances.

Experience configuring and testing network devices from Cisco, Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider.

Required Qualifications

IT networking fundamentals: subnetting, VLAN design, IP addressing

Layer 2 switching/Ethernet concepts and protocols

Layer 3 routing concepts and protocols

Network segmentation and DMZ design

End-to-end network architecture/design across IT and OT environments

Hands-on deployment/configuration of switches, routers, and network appliances

Experience with Cisco networking devices

OT/industrial environment understanding, including PLC/Siemens context

Cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure)

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and Ansible

Virtualization/infrastructure platforms: VMware and Citrix

Scripting/automation using PowerShell and/or Python

Documentation: network documentation and as-built drawings

Windows Server basics (2016/2019/2022/2025)

Ability to support client enablement and communicate with stakeholders
