Senior Interaction Designer (Automotive HMI / ADAS)
Senior Interaction Designer consultant needed for an ongoing assignment in Södertälje (primarily on-site) to design and prototype future automotive HMI solutions with a strong focus on ADAS-related user experiences. You will work in a Lean Agile, cross-functional setup, owning interaction design activities end-to-end: high-fidelity prototyping in Figma, user testing, translating insights into design improvements, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure design intent is implemented. Automotive HMI experience and ADAS design experience are essential; Swedish and/or English is required.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create and refine user-centered designs for future Scania HMI solutions. The role requires a self-driven individual who can independently lead design activities while aligning with established requirements, directives, and product visions.

Design and prototype seamless user experiences using Figma.

Conduct user testing sessions and translate insights into actionable design improvements.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design intent is successfully implemented.

Contribute to the continued development and enhancement of ADAS-related functions and user experiences.

Work proactively within a Lean Agile organization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Extensive experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or UI Designer.

Proven experience from the automotive industry, including HMI (Human Machine Interface) development.

Experience working with and designing interfaces related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

Strong proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.

Strong skills in user testing and gathering user insights.
