Senior Fullstack Test Automation Engineer (Scrum Master/Team Lead)

Senior fullstack tester needed for a contract role in Gothenburg, combining hands-on QA/test automation with a Scrum Master/team lead profile. You will drive scrum ceremonies and act as the voice of the DevOps team while improving automated regression suites across UI, API and backend. The role includes exploratory/manual testing when needed, investigating failures using logs/integration traces/DevTools, integrating tests into CI/CD, and improving monitoring of existing services. We’re looking for a Senior Tester with Scrum/teamlead profile with solid experience in test & automation

Drive scrum ceremonies and other team activities when needed.

You believe it is fun to act as team lead and bring others together & presenting

You feel confident to present and talk to others outside our devops team

Acts as tester with test leader mentality

Analyze and breakdown requirements into test cases for new development

Secure validation requirements (acceptance criteria) in collaboration with Business Analyst and Developers

Passionate about developing/maintaining test frameworks and identifying new automation areas

Develop and maintain regression test suites, enhancing testing efficiency, accuracy and research on tools and technologies

Investigate failures in system tests during new development, operations and incidents.

Report and analyze defects in non-prod environments and follow up progress

Essential

Required Qualifications

Test automation (UI/API/backend)

Cypress (automation tool proficiency)

API testing with Postman and/or Insomnia

Microservices understanding (testing in a microservices context)

API types knowledge: REST, GraphQL, WebSocket

Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Test case design from requirements and acceptance criteria validation

Regression test suite development and maintenance

CI/CD integration of automated tests

Defect reporting, tracking and analysis in non-prod environments

Investigating test/system failures using logs, integrations and browser DevTools

Agile/Scrum ways of working

Scrum Master experience (driving ceremonies)

Test leadership/team lead mindset (test leader)

Web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Strong communication in English

Preferred

Nice to Have

Swedish language

Selenium (or other UI automation tools)

DevOps practices beyond CI/CD (broader DevOps exposure)

Experience testing digital services in automotive or real-time device/data integrations

Experience testing/automating map-based tools

Experience using AI tools such as AWS Kiro or GitHub Copilot
