Design Considering the Package, master sections, styling, vehicle regulation & performance

Experience in Door BIW Skin Feasibility check, Hinge axis fixing, Beam/Impact Member Layout fixing and Master sections Creation

Experience in Door BIW 3D modeling (Front & Rear Door OTR PNL, INR PNL, Frame ASSY, hinge, latch REINF’s, OTR, INR rail, UPR MBR)

Design stage interactions with digital designer, package in charge, electronics teams, door mechanism and other engineering teams.

OEM experience in Product Development with experience of complete life cycle.

Good knowledge in Sheetmetal design

Communication with onsite and understand the design modification

Essential
Required Qualifications
BIW door and closure design from concept through mass production
CATIA V5 or CATIA V6, with 4+ years of experience and 3D, 2D, and 3DA work
Door BIW design including skin feasibility, master sections, hinge-axis definition, and impact-member layout
Door component modeling, including OTR and INR panels, frame assemblies, rails, and reinforcements
Sheet metal design, stamping-process knowledge, and design for manufacturing
OEM product-development experience and complete door-design lifecycle exposure
Cross-functional module-level design checking and coordination with onsite/customer and engineering teams
Experience with Asian or Japanese customers and knowledge of Asian and European door regulations
Mechanical engineering degree (B.E. Mechanical)
Weld-gun layout and layout-check-sheet understanding
