Senior Civil-Structural Engineer (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical EPC)
Senior Civil-Structural Engineer needed on contract in Chennai to lead and deliver civil and structural design for Oil & Gas / refinery / petrochemical EPC projects. The role focuses on RCC foundations and structural steel design for pipe racks and platforms, producing and checking design calculations and deliverables, and reviewing GA/foundation/steel drawings. The engineer will coordinate closely with piping, mechanical, process, E&I and geotechnical teams, support 3D model reviews, and ensure compliance with relevant Indian/international codes (AISC/ACI/API/IS/BS/Eurocode) while providing site support and responding to RFIs.

Essential
Required Qualifications
RCC foundation design (equipment, pipe racks, buildings)
Structural steel design for pipe racks and platforms
Structural analysis using STAAD and/or ETABS and/or SAFE
Oil & Gas / refinery / petrochemical EPC project experience
GA drawing and foundation drawing review
Preparation and checking of design calculations and engineering deliverables
Interdisciplinary coordination (Process, Piping, Mechanical, E&I, Geotechnical)
3D model review participation/support
Knowledge and application of design codes/standards (AISC, ACI, API, IS, BS, Eurocode)
Construction/site engineering support including RFI responses and resolving site issues
