Senior BI Developer (Data Warehouse / Data Virtualization - Denodo)

Senior BI developer needed for Västra Götaland Region (VGR) in Gothenburg to develop and enhance the output data platform for the product “Data-driven care follow-up”. The role focuses on retrieving, integrating, transforming and structuring data from multiple healthcare sources into DW/data marts and publishing information models via a data virtualization platform (Denodo). Strong Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS skills are required, along with solid healthcare domain understanding (EHR/medical record systems and healthcare information models). The consultant will work in an agile team, collaborate closely with the business, and support junior developers. Very good Swedish is required.

For our client Västra Götaland Region, VGR, we are looking for a BI developer for the assignment below

Documented experience working as a BI developer with data modeling and data warehouse development.

Extensive experience in retrieving, integrating, transforming, structuring and making data available from multiple sources.

Experience working with Denodo or equivalent platform for data virtualization and information provisioning.

High knowledge of Microsoft SQL server and related BI tools such as SSIS

References (References mean people with contact information or examples of completed assignments/work.)

Required Qualifications

BI development experience with data modeling and data warehouse development

Data integration/ETL: retrieving, integrating, transforming, structuring and publishing data from multiple sources

Denodo (or equivalent data virtualization/information provisioning platform)

Microsoft SQL Server (high proficiency)

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

Healthcare domain knowledge: healthcare concepts, medical record systems (EHR) and healthcare-related information models

Agile team experience (planning, prioritization, delivery)

Ability to work independently and support junior developers

Very good Swedish (professional fluency)

Ability to translate business needs into information models and BI solutions

Swedish citizenship (for potential security classification)

Experience in healthcare sector projects (explicitly as merit, though healthcare knowledge is required)
