SAP WM Consultant (Contract)

Contract role for an SAP WM Consultant (4–6 years) in Rajkot to lead/participate in end-to-end SAP Warehouse Management implementations. The consultant will gather requirements, configure WM (warehouse structure, storage types/sections/bins, movement types), support inbound/outbound/internal processes (putaway, picking, replenishment), manage WM inventory/physical inventory and stock movements, and ensure integration with SAP MM/SD/PP. Responsibilities include functional specs for developments/interfaces, testing (unit/integration/UAT), defect resolution, data migration/cutover/go-live/hypercare, and documentation/training with stakeholder coordination.

What You'll Be Doing.

Lead/participate in E2E SAP WM implementation projects from requirement gathering through Go-Live and hypercare.

Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP WM solutions.

Configure SAP WM including warehouse structure, storage types, storage sections, storage bins and movement types.

Work on Inbound, Outbound and Internal Warehouse processes.

Configure and support Transfer Orders (TO), Transfer Requirements (TR), picking, putaway and replenishment.

Configure WM Inventory Management, physical inventory and stock movements.

Integrate SAP WM with SAP MM, SD and PP modules.

Work on Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), stock transfer and warehouse movements.

Configure and support WM-MM and WM-SD integration.

Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments/interfaces.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT and defect resolution.

Support data migration, cutover activities, Go-Live and post-Go-Live stabilization.

Required Qualifications

SAP Warehouse Management (SAP WM) configuration and support

At least 1 complete end-to-end SAP WM implementation (requirements to go-live/hypercare)

Warehouse structure configuration (warehouse number/structure, storage types, storage sections, storage bins)

Movement types and warehouse movements configuration/support

Inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes

Transfer Orders (TO) and Transfer Requirements (TR) configuration/support

Picking, putaway, and replenishment processes

WM Inventory Management, physical inventory, stock movements

Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), stock transfer processes in WM context

Integration of SAP WM with SAP MM, SAP SD, and SAP PP (WM-MM and WM-SD integration)

Functional specifications and coordination with technical teams for developments/interfaces

Testing lifecycle: unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution

Data migration support, cutover activities, go-live and post go-live stabilization

Functional documentation and user training materials
