SAP TM Functional Consultant (Manufacturing Logistics)

Hire a SAP TM Functional Consultant (4–7 years SAP, 3+ years SAP TM) to configure and support end-to-end transportation processes in a manufacturing logistics network: inbound procurement transportation, inter-plant/STO movements, and outbound finished goods distribution. The role focuses on SAP TM configuration (order/delivery-based transportation, freight unit building, VSR planning/optimization, charge and settlement management) and tight integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, EWM and FI/CO, including freight cost posting, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover support, and troubleshooting integration/master data issues in embedded S/4HANA TM or standalone TM landscapes.

Required Qualifications

SAP TM (Transportation Management) functional configuration

3+ years hands-on SAP TM experience

Manufacturing logistics environment experience

Inbound procurement transportation configuration

Integration with SAP MM purchase orders and inbound deliveries

Inter-plant / Stock Transport Order (STO) transportation configuration

Outbound transportation integration with SAP SD outbound deliveries

Order-based transportation and delivery-based transportation

Freight Unit Building Rules (FUBR) and consolidation strategies

Planning & Optimization (VSR)

Carrier selection and tendering

Charge Management and condition technique

Settlement Management / freight settlement

FI integration for freight cost posting

Cost allocation across plants/business units

Multi-leg transportation scenarios

Testing participation (SIT/UAT) and cutover activities

Troubleshooting integration and master data issues

At least one full-cycle implementation or large rollout experience

Ability to align transportation planning with production/dispatch schedules
