SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant (MM/LE Integration & Interfaces)

Hire an SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant (5–10 years) in Mumbai for a permanent role. The person should have strong hands-on MM process knowledge (procurement/purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, physical inventory) with at least one end-to-end implementation plus support experience. They must understand Logistics Execution (LE) and MM-LE integration, and be able to design/support integrations with 3PL and external applications using IDocs/EDI/APIs, including troubleshooting interface failures and coordinating with technical teams. The role also covers functional specs, SIT/UAT, go-live and production support, and integration touchpoints with SD and FI.

Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) with at least one end-to-end implementation and support project experience.

Hands-on expertise in Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, and Physical Inventory processes.

Strong understanding of SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and integration between MM and LE modules.

Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting interfaces with 3PL providers, and other external applications.

Good working knowledge of IDocs, EDI, APIs, for interface development and troubleshooting.

Ability to analyse interface failures, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues.

Experience in preparing functional specifications, conducting SIT/UAT, supporting go-live activities, and providing production support.

Strong knowledge of integration with SAP SD, FI modules.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) functional expertise

At least one end-to-end SAP implementation experience (implementation + support exposure)

Procurement and Purchasing processes in SAP MM

Inventory Management in SAP MM

Invoice Verification (LIV) in SAP MM

Physical Inventory processes

SAP Logistics Execution (LE) understanding

MM-LE integration knowledge

Integration with SAP SD module (MM-SD touchpoints)

Integration with SAP FI module (MM-FI touchpoints)

Designing/implementing/supporting interfaces with 3PL providers and external applications

Working knowledge of IDocs for interface development/troubleshooting

Working knowledge of EDI for interface development/troubleshooting

Working knowledge of APIs for interface development/troubleshooting

Interface failure analysis and root cause analysis (RCA)

Coordination with technical teams (e.g., ABAP/integration) to resolve interface issues
