SAP FICO Consultant (Support/Projects, Interfaces/IDoc)

SAP FICO consultant needed (6–8 years) for Finance & Controlling support and project work, owning incident/change delivery and collaborating with integration and third-party teams. The role requires strong hands-on SAP FICO configuration across AR/AP/GL, Asset Accounting and Controlling (profit/cost centers, internal orders, COPA), solid master data exposure, and experience with interfaces/IDoc/EDI and file transmissions (AL11). Candidate should have rollout/full lifecycle implementation experience, be able to write functional/technical specs and work with ABAP, and be comfortable with OSS notes and SLA-driven operations; exposure to tools like ServiceNow and observability platforms is a plus. Location Mumbai, contract.

Essential

Required Qualifications

SAP FICO (6–8 years)

SAP FI processes: Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL) accounting and reporting

SAP CO: Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

Master data exposure: AR/AP/GL balances (and related master data maintenance)

Incident and Change Management (ITSM) with SLA/KPI focus

At least 2 full life cycle implementations and/or rollouts

Interfaces/integration experience with third-party systems (SAP to non-SAP and vice versa)

IDoc/EDI process exposure/experience

AL11 directory handling and inward/outward transmissions

LSMW and/or Winshuttle for mass master data maintenance/amendments

Ability to create Functional/Technical specifications and collaborate with ABAP team

SAP OSS: research issues, evaluate/apply/test OSS notes

Configuration experience: Automatic Payment Program (APP), Dunning, Company code organizational setup, US taxation

Cross-module understanding with SD/MM

Experience working with overseas clients (Europe/US)

Ability to work independently and take ownership
