SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) Technical Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP Build Process Automation Technical Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support business process automation solutions using SAP Build Process Automation. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to automate workflows, build bots, integrate SAP and non-SAP systems, and optimize business processes across the enterprise.

Analyze business requirements and identify automation opportunities.

Create and configure: Process workflows, Approval processes, Business rules, Forms and user interfaces, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots

Integrate SAP BPA with SAP and third-party applications using APIs, OData services, REST services, and SAP BTP services.

Configure and manage SAP Build Process Automation environments.

Develop reusable automation components and best practices.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

Monitor automation processes and resolve production issues.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants in areas such as: S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, SAP ECC

Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.

Support user training and knowledge transfer activities.

Participate in project planning, estimation, and solution architecture discussions

Essential
Required Qualifications
Hands-on SAP Build Process Automation (SAP BPA) experience
SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) knowledge
Workflow/Process automation design and development (workflows, approvals)
SAP Build Process Automation bots / SAP Intelligent RPA concepts
Business Rules Management (rules, decision logic)
Integration using REST APIs and OData services
Working with JSON/XML and web services
Understanding of SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) / API Management
Testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization for automations
SAP security concepts (roles and authorizations)
Git version control
CI/CD and DevOps practices
Basic scripting (JavaScript preferred)
Agile/Scrum delivery experience
SAP certifications (SAP BPA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite)
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms
Experience leading automation projects and mentoring junior consultants
Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related (Optional)
