Salesforce QA / Test Automation Engineer (Contract)

Contract Salesforce QA/Test Automation Engineer to plan and execute functional, regression, integration, UAT and end-to-end testing for Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud). The role will create and maintain test cases/scripts/data/evidence, validate configuration and custom development (Flows, Lightning, security, data, integrations), perform automation using tools like Provar/Tosca/AccelQ/Selenium, and conduct API testing with Postman/REST Assured/SoapUI. You will manage defects through closure, support release/deployment validation, and collaborate closely with testing lead, developers, architects, BAs and product teams in an Agile delivery model.

Execute functional, regression, integration, user acceptance and end-to-end testing.

Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, test data and execution evidence.

Perform automated tests using the selected Salesforce testing platform and supporting tools.

Validate Salesforce configuration, custom development, workflows, security, data and integrations.

Log, prioritize, retest and track defects through closure.

Perform API testing and support release, deployment and upgrade validation.

Collaborate with the Testing Lead, developers, architects, business analysts and product teams.

Follow testing standards and contribute practical improvements to quality processes.

5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including Salesforce project testing.

10

Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or other Salesforce clouds.

11

Experience with functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing.

12

Working knowledge of Salesforce data model, security, Flows, Lightning, integration patterns and JavaScript.

Essential

Required Qualifications

Software QA (5+ years) with Salesforce project testing

Salesforce testing experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other clouds)

Functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing

Test design and documentation: test cases, test scripts, test data, execution evidence

Salesforce knowledge: data model, security model, Flows, Lightning

Integration validation and understanding of integration patterns

Test automation experience with at least one: Provar, Tricentis Tosca, AccelQ, Selenium

API testing with at least one: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI

Defect lifecycle management: log, prioritize, retest, track to closure

Agile delivery experience and use of defect/test management tools

Clear defect communication and analytical/problem-solving skills

Preferred

Nice to Have

Release, deployment and upgrade validation experience

Experience validating Salesforce workflows (legacy) in addition to Flows

JavaScript working knowledge (for Salesforce/Lightning-related validation)

Experience contributing to testing standards and process improvements
