Design engineer responsible for end-to-end development of automotive restraint systems (airbags, steering wheels and seat belts) from concept through production release. The role focuses on CATIA V5 3D/2D design (surfacing, solid modeling, 3D annotations), BOM and PLM release management (Teamcenter Engineering/TCUA, modular BOM), and product quality/validation deliverables including DFMEA, DVP, benchmarking, and support to CAE and physical validation, with strong GD&T, dimensional management, and plastics/manufacturing process knowledge.

Handle complete product development from concept to production release.

Create concept designs, master sections and feasibility studies.

Develop 3D models, surfacing, solid models, 2D drawings and 3D annotations in CATIA V5.

Prepare and manage BOM for restraint systems.

Conduct DFMEA, DVP, benchmarking and validation activities.

Support CAE and physical validation activities.

Manage PLM releases using TCE/TCUA and Modular BOM.

Participate in design reviews and cross functional meetings.
