Platform/Cloud Engineer (AWS/Terraform)
Contract Platform/Cloud Engineering role (12 months) focused on hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure delivery and automation. The engineer should be able to independently stand up and configure AWS infrastructure for new applications/platforms using Terraform as the primary Infrastructure-as-Code tool, with solid fundamentals in IAM, networking, and security. Has strong Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code experience - this is a key requirement, as their AWS environment is primarily managed through Terraform

Has experience with application/platform deployment, infrastructure automation, environment configuration, IAM/networking/security, and ideally CI/CD

Can work hands-on as their architecture evolves; data engineering experience is useful, but the primary requirement is platform/infrastructure engineering

Ability to independently provision/stand up AWS infrastructure for new applications/platforms
AWS IAM (identity and access management)
AWS networking fundamentals (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups/NACLs)
Cloud security fundamentals (least privilege, secure networking, encryption basics)
Infrastructure automation and environment configuration
Application/platform deployment support (infrastructure side)
