Performance Test Engineer / Performance Testing Specialist

Looking for a 5–10 years Performance Testing/Engineering professional to analyse non-functional requirements and define performance test objectives, design and execute load/stress/endurance/spike/scalability tests, and build/maintain scripts in JMeter, LoadRunner or NeoLoad. Analyse non-functional requirements and establish performance test objectives.

Design and execute load, stress, endurance, spike and scalability tests.

Develop and maintain performance scripts using JMeter, LoadRunner or NeoLoad, according to project requirements.

Prepare workload models, virtual users, transaction mixes, pacing and think-time configurations.

Correlate dynamic values and parameterise test data.

Monitor response times, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory and database performance.

Analyse bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, network and database layers.

Conduct baseline and comparative performance tests.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure and database teams to investigate performance issues.

Performance testing and performance engineering

Non-functional requirements (NFR) analysis and performance test objective definition

Design and execution of load, stress, endurance/soak, spike and scalability tests

Hands-on with at least one tool: Apache JMeter OR Micro Focus LoadRunner OR NeoLoad

Performance scripting and script maintenance

Workload modelling (virtual users, transaction mix, pacing, think time)

Correlation of dynamic values and test data parameterisation

Performance monitoring and metrics analysis (response time, throughput, error rate)

System/resource monitoring (CPU, memory) and database performance monitoring (at a metrics level)

Bottleneck analysis across application, infrastructure, network and database layers

Baseline and comparative performance testing

Performance test reporting and recommendations
