OT / Industrial Automation Platform Support Engineer (SCADA/MES, Ignition/Kepware/Canary/HighByte/Sepasoft)

Contract role in Mysore for an 8–10 year OT/Industrial Automation support engineer to run and support OT software platforms and data integration in manufacturing/digital manufacturing environments. The engineer will support and troubleshoot Ignition, Kepware, Canary, HighByte, and Sepasoft platforms; work with SCADA/MES, historians, and OT data streams; and handle OT networking, server/virtualization, and cybersecurity fundamentals. The role partners with site teams, vendors, and global IT/OT teams, and supports OT requirements for upcoming AI/data initiatives.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Automation, or related discipline.

8-10 years of experience in OT, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing IT, or Digital Manufacturing environments.

Experience supporting OT platforms such as Ignition, Kepware, Canary, HighByte, and Sepasoft.

Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP.

Experience with industrial historians, SCADA, MES, and data integration platforms.

Knowledge of OT networking, server administration, virtualization, and cybersecurity principles.

Experience working in Medtech, or industrial environments.

Work with OT platforms such as Kepware, Ignition, HighByte, Canary.

Support OT data collection, data sets and data streams.

Configure and troubleshooting OT applications, servers and related infrastructure.

Support implementation of new software and provide day-to-day technical support.

Work with site teams, vendors and global IT/OT teams to resolve technical issues.
