Oracle Fusion Financials Functional/Technical Support Consultant (Managed Services)

Hybrid Oracle Fusion Financials Functional/Technical Support Consultant for a Managed Services team in Bangalore (permanent, 5–10 years). The role is primarily functional (approx. 80%) with some technical work (approx. 20%), supporting and enhancing Fusion Financials and related processes. The consultant will handle incident/problem resolution, change requests and some project work, including quarterly update impact assessment/testing, upgrades, and change management. Strong functional knowledge across Fusion Financials modules and O2C/P2P flows is required, along with SQL/PLSQL for queries and data fixes, and reporting/workflow tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher and Workflow. ITIL-based support experience and strong customer-facing communication are important.

What You'll Be Doing.

Excellent functional capability of Fusion financials modules (AP, AR, GL, CE, FA, eBTax, SLA) plus Order management (OM).

Good working knowledge across Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay process flows.

Good working in the following modules Purchasing, iProcurement and iExpenses.

Fusion implementation experience including upgrades, testing, and change management activities.

Good working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and the ability to write queries /prepare data fixes on base tables of above modules as needed.

Solid experience with Technical tools such as OBTI, BI Publisher, Workflow.

Ability to support Oracle quarterly updates by assessing impacts, testing new functionality, and coordinating deployments.

Any knowledge or exposure to EBS (R12.2) would be an advantage.

Knowledge of key interfaces within the functional domains articulated above.

Previous experience of working within a support environment, underpinned by ITIL based working practices.

Ability to demonstrate that issues can be resolved effectively and proactively.
