Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Controls Lead / Risk & Controls SME
Senior risk and controls professional to lead reviews and provide SME input on control descriptions, standards, frameworks and taxonomies within a Non-Financial Risk (NFR) environment. The role partners with control owners, risk stewards and SMEs to identify and implement control enhancements, maintain the risk & control inventory, support remediation and challenge insights from specialist teams, and drive proactive risk management through reporting, dashboards and analytics. Also includes work allocation, quality oversight, and mentoring junior team members while collaborating with global teams to align control definitions and standards.

What You'll Be Doing.

Engage with key stakeholders, Control Owners, Risk Stewards, and other SMEs as required, to agree and implement controls enhancement opportunities.

Assist in maintaining the Risk & Control inventory and collaborate with global teams to align on control standards, definitions, and frameworks.

Support remediation activities, challenge and remediation of insights shared by specialist teams, by engaging with control owners/stake holders as appropriate.

Undertake team distribution of work, quality, mentor and guide junior members to build internal expertise and continuity.

Drive a proactive risk management framework and initiatives through enhanced reporting and analytics. Help in preparing management reports, dashboards, and program updates.

Required Qualifications
Non-Financial Risk (NFR) / risk management framework knowledge
Controls assessment and review (control descriptions, design/operating effectiveness concepts)
Control standards, frameworks, and taxonomies (ability to interpret and align)
Risk & Control inventory maintenance (RCSA-style inventory concepts)
Stakeholder management with control owners and risk stewards (to agree control enhancements/remediation)
Remediation support and challenge of issues/insights (issue management concepts)
Management reporting: dashboards, program updates, reporting and analytics
Team leadership: work distribution, quality oversight, mentoring junior members
Preferred
Nice to Have
Experience working with global teams / global operating model alignment
Advanced analytics for risk reporting (trend/insight generation)
Experience with control standardization and control library harmonization
