Readiness & Gap Assessments: Conduct comprehensive NIS2 readiness reviews and local transposed-law gap assessments across multiple EU jurisdictions.

Walkthroughs & Evaluations: Perform end-to-end walkthroughs of core business processes, activities, controls, and supporting evidence.

Control Effectiveness Testing: Assess control design, implementation, and operating effectiveness against the EU NIS2 Directive and ABB Internal Control Library (ICL) requirements.

Gap Analysis & Remediation: Identify, document, and validate compliance gaps, findings, and remediation actions aligned specifically with NIS2 Article 21 requirements.

Self-Assessments & Evaluation: Execute Key Controls Self-Assessments (KCSA) for relevant assets and review cybersecurity internal control evaluation findings to gauge their impact on overarching NIS2 compliance.

Reporting & Attestation: Support the preparation and structuring of the NIS2 management/assurance report for executive attestation and regulatory submissions.

Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key liaison, coordinating closely with local legal entities, control owners, security managers, and compliance stakeholders across the EU footprint.

Essential

Required Qualifications

Strong knowledge of EU NIS2 Directive with deep familiarity of Article 21 requirements

Ability to perform NIS2 readiness reviews and gap assessments against national transposition/local laws

Control walkthroughs and evidence collection across business processes and IT/security controls

Control design assessment and operating effectiveness testing (audit-style testing)

Gap identification, documentation, and remediation action tracking/validation

Key Controls Self-Assessments (KCSA) execution and review of internal control evaluation findings

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls) and internal control libraries

Strong technical writing and ability to synthesize compliance results into executive-ready assurance/management reports

Stakeholder coordination across multiple legal entities/countries

Preferred

Experience in multinational corporate environment, professional services, or GCC setting
