Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing.
Every role at Ubique contributes directly to solving meaningful business challenges for our clients.
L3 Support & RCA: Own complex issues (agent failures, missing telemetry, ingestion, query performance, alerting gaps); troubleshoot source → agent → ingestion → visualisation; support major incidents; document root causes, permanent fixes and runbooks.
Governance & Standardisation: Define best practices for onboarding, alert configuration and log ingestion; ensure consistency across environments; maintain architecture documents, configuration baselines and runbooks; govern design reviews, access and changes.
Onboarding & Coverage: Onboard servers, applications and infrastructure with validated agents, telemetry, dashboards and alerts; track coverage and close monitoring gaps.
License & Usage Management: Monitor data ingestion, license consumption and available capacity; optimise telemetry to avoid overconsumption while preserving diagnostic coverage.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Translate requirements into practical designs; guide teams on instrumentation and adoption; provide knowledge transfer and documented handover to support teams.
Continuous Improvement: Adopt advanced capabilities (AI-based alerting, anomaly detection, distributed tracing, advanced dashboards) and automate repeatable onboarding and administration tasks to drive observability maturity
