Network Engineer Expert (LAN/WLAN/WAN/SD-WAN)
Contract Network Engineer Expert needed in Madrid (hybrid 1–2 days onsite) to support the User Connectivity product line delivering LAN, WLAN and WAN services. The role focuses on network architecture and specifications, secure build, integration, performance/QoS optimization, and complex troubleshooting across large-scale, multi-tenant and remote-site environments. You will also produce technology assessments and evolution roadmaps, working with Group Security/CTO and vendors in an international, matrix organization. SD-WAN architecture/design and integration
Secure build / security-by-design network implementation
Network integration and implementation (enterprise/large-scale)
Performance monitoring and optimization (including QoS)
Advanced network troubleshooting in complex environments
Large-scale network standardization/transformation initiatives
Remote site network design patterns and WAN infrastructure
Production support / operations in complex multi-tenant environments
Stakeholder management in international, matrix environments
Vendor/partner technical engagement (major IT vendors)
English (mandatory)
