MES Site IT Coordinator / IT-OT Manufacturing Systems Coordinator (Contract)
Site-level IT/OT coordinator for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) delivery and operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role governs and coordinates the full MES lifecycle (requirements through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state support), aligns site stakeholders with Global MES and offshore delivery teams, and ensures readiness across infrastructure, user access, shopfloor devices, interfaces, and connectivity. The coordinator tracks actions/risks/issues, supports process alignment to a core MES template, manages vendors/system integrators, and contributes to automation/data initiatives spanning SCADA/DCS/MES and data historization, while ensuring compliance with GMP/GAMP5/Annex 11/21 CFR Part 11 and cybersecurity practices. Frequent travel (>50%) is required.

Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing.

Build strong working relationships with Operations, Quality, MSAT, Validation, site IT, Global MES, Infrastructure, ERP, vendors, and implementation partners to drive alignment.
Coordinate MES lifecycle activities including requirements, design, build, testing, training, go-live, hypercare, support handover, and steady-state operations.
Track site-level MES actions, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and readiness items with clear ownership and follow-up.
Coordinate technical and functional discussions between site users, Global MES teams, and offshore development/configuration teams.
Support business process reengineering and help align site processes with the core MES template, standard ways of working, and practical shopfloor needs.
Drive clarity in MES requirements by capturing site feedback, process gaps, user needs, and local constraints in a structured way.
Support site readiness activities including infrastructure, user access, shopfloor devices, printers, scanners, terminals, interfaces, and connectivity.
Coordinate required testing and compliance-related activities by helping site teams participate, provide inputs, and close actions as needed.
Log, track, and escalate MES issues to the right support teams with clear business impact, priority, and required details.
Support creation and update of MES-related documents such as SOPs, work instructions, user guides, support guides, and training materials.
Ensure smooth communication between site teams, Global MES teams, support teams, and offshore delivery teams.

Essential
Required Qualifications
MES implementation/support coordination in manufacturing environments
Site-level IT coordination/governance (actions, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, readiness)
Requirements clarification and structured capture of site needs/gaps/constraints
Stakeholder management across Operations, Quality, MSAT, Validation, site IT, Global MES, vendors, and offshore teams
MES lifecycle coordination (design/build/testing/training/go-live/hypercare/support handover/steady-state)
Shopfloor readiness support (user access, devices, printers/scanners/terminals, interfaces, connectivity)
Issue logging, prioritization, escalation with business impact and required technical details
Understanding of manufacturing processes and shopfloor operations
Documentation support (SOPs, work instructions, user guides, training/support materials)
Ability to coordinate testing and compliance-related activities with Quality/Validation
