Mendix Developer

Contract Mendix Developer (5–7 years overall experience preferred) to design, build, integrate, deploy, and support enterprise-grade low-code applications. The role requires strong hands-on Mendix Studio Pro development (domain models, microflows/nanoflows, pages/widgets, security, workflows), building integrations (REST/SOAP/OData with JSON/XML and databases), UI customization (Atlas UI, HTML/CSS/Sass, JS/TS/custom widgets), and DevOps/quality practices (Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, testing, performance). Candidate will also handle production support and ITSM processes, and must hold Mendix Intermediate Developer certification.

What You'll Be Doing.

Application Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Mendix applications using Studio Pro, domain models, microflows, nanoflows, pages, widgets, security models, workflows, and data integrations.

Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, participate in architecture and design reviews, and recommend Mendix platform best practices.

Integration Development: Build integrations with external systems, databases, enterprise platforms, and third-party services using REST, SOAP, OData, JSON/XML payloads, and external authentication providers.

Front-End Development: Customize user interfaces and user experiences using Atlas UI, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript/TypeScript widgets, and Mendix Marketplace components.

DevOps & Quality: Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, Git-based version control, Azure DevOps practices, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.

Application Support: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, support incident, problem, and change management processes, assist with platform upgrades, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on Mendix development experience, including strong proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro.

Experience building enterprise applications using Mendix versions 8.x, 9.x, and/or 10.x.

Strong understanding of Mendix domain models, entities, associations, microflows, nanoflows, XPath, workflows, security frameworks, Marketplace components, and deployment concepts.

Proven experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, OData, JSON, XML, and relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

Ability to extend Mendix functionality using custom Java actions, JavaScript, TypeScript, or custom widgets.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Mendix deployment tools, ServiceNow, and Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
