Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (Churn & Propensity Modeling)
Contract role in Helsinki for a hands-on ML engineer/data scientist to build and validate customer analytics models (churn, upsell/cross-sell, downsell/right-sizing, CLV, and next-best-action recommendations). The work includes defining targets/labels with stakeholders, creating point-in-time-correct training and batch-scoring datasets with data engineers (feature store), performing EDA/feature engineering/leakage checks/imbalance handling/calibration/time-based validation, and adding NLP sentiment features from customer free text. Core stack is Python, PySpark, and SQL on an AWS S3-backed lake/lakehouse; MLOps tooling (Kubeflow/MLflow/SageMaker) and Iceberg/Delta/Dremio are advantageous.
