IT Estimation & Costing Reference System Consultant (Abacus/JH, Hybrid Project & Product, AI impact)
Contract role in Nantes for a consultant to design, validate, and prepare deployment of a new IT estimation/costing reference system (abacus) in JH (person-days). The mission includes analyzing existing estimation charts, building a new complexity grid and reference system, defining tuning/specifications and tooled integration, and producing training/encryption guidance. The consultant must have proven references in building or recasting costing models, be rigorous on measuring generative/agentic AI impact on delivery phases, and be comfortable with hybrid delivery modes (V-cycle project costing with JH metrics and product/agile estimation using capacity/velocity), including cross-functional contributions (architecture, cybersecurity, GDPR).

Essential
Required Qualifications
Proven experience building or recasting IT project costing/estimation reference systems (abacus) with verifiable references
Project costing in V-cycle/classic project mode using JH (person-days) metrics
Product/Agile estimation concepts: capacity planning and velocity-based forecasting
Ability to analyze and synthesize existing estimation charts/practices and identify discrepancies
Design of a complexity grid / sizing model to standardize estimates
Ability to model and quantify AI impact (generative/agentic) on development/testing/acceptance/documentation including learning/validation costs
Scoping and framing of an estimation redesign project; macro-costing (build and run) during framing
Change support across project/product/platform stakeholders
Incorporating cross-functional functions into estimates (architecture, cybersecurity, GDPR)
