IP & Subsystem Modeling / Platform Simulation & Validation Engineer (Simics preferred)
Contract role in Gdansk for a 5–7 years engineer to develop and maintain high-fidelity IP/subsystem/platform simulation models aligned to Intel architecture specs, build and validate functional models for SW/FW bring-up, create scalable test cases and regression suites, and perform system-level debug across BIOS/firmware/OS/driver layers. The role also expects CI/CD and cloud-based simulation integration (containers/orchestration) and exposure to LLM/AI-based methods to improve simulation and validation workflows; Simics (or equivalent) experience and domain knowledge in boot/reset/power management and related platform domains are preferred.

Build and validate functional simulation models supporting SW/FW bring-up and validation

Support platform model integration across multiple IP domains

Experience with Simics or equivalent simulation platforms strongly preferred

Ability to work with architecture specifications to develop accurate and scalable models. Domain expertise with boot, reset, power management, CXL, crash log, security, RAS [Reliability, Availability and Serviceability], debug, RDT(resource directory technology) is preferred.

Develop comprehensive test cases for IP, subsystem, and platform-level validation

Build and maintain regression test suites ensuring stability and consistency across releases

Support critical domain (not limited to) boot, reset, power management, and system flow test case development

Experience with validation frameworks and continuous integration environments

Ability to develop scalable and reusable test content across multiple platforms and architectures

Provide expertise in system-level debug across hardware, firmware, and software layers

Support SW/FW integration activities including bring-up, feature enablement, and issue resolution
