Infrastructure Architect / Lead (Cloud & Hybrid Transformation)

Seeking a senior Infrastructure Architect/Lead (10+ years) for an offshore India contract role to assess an enterprise infrastructure and application hosting landscape, define on-prem/cloud/hybrid/RISE/SaaS strategies, and design target-state infrastructure, connectivity, and security architecture. The role covers inventory and classification of assets, dependency analysis across apps/databases/middleware/interfaces, cloud subscription and vendor review, and creation of migration strategies/roadmaps, cutover plans, and testing approaches. Strong experience across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), identity and security (AD/Entra ID, MFA, PAM, certificates), network/connectivity (WAN/VPN/SD-WAN, DNS, routing, firewalls), and operational readiness (backup/monitoring/logging/DR) is required, along with leading cutover/hypercare and stakeholder coordination.

Assess current infrastructure, hosting, and application landscape.

Define On-Prem, Cloud, Hybrid, RISE, and SaaS strategies.

Inventory servers, VMs, storage, databases, cloud resources, endpoints, and security tools.

Classify assets for transfer, clone, migration, replacement, or retirement.

Analyze dependencies across applications, databases, middleware, batch jobs, interfaces, DNS, and third-party systems.

Review cloud subscriptions, SaaS platforms, contracts, and vendor agreements.

Design target infrastructure architecture and hosting model.

Define WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, DNS, routing, firewall, internet, and cloud connectivity architecture.

Design AD, Entra ID, MFA, PAM, certificates, and security solutions.

Develop migration strategies for servers, VMs, databases, file shares, and cloud workloads.

Define backup, monitoring, logging, DR, security zones, and operational readiness requirements.

Prepare migration roadmaps, resource estimates, and cutover plans.

Infrastructure architecture and target-state hosting model design (on-prem, cloud, hybrid)

Infrastructure assessment and discovery (servers, VMs, storage, databases, endpoints, security tools)

Asset classification for migration/transfer/replace/retire decisions

Application and infrastructure dependency analysis (apps, DBs, middleware, batch jobs, interfaces, DNS, third parties)

Cloud migration strategy and roadmap planning (including cutover and hypercare)

Network and connectivity architecture (WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, DNS, routing, firewall, internet, cloud connectivity)

Identity and access/security architecture (AD, Entra ID, MFA, PAM, certificates)

Operational readiness design (backup, monitoring, logging, DR, security zones)

Risk/assumption/dependency management and remediation planning

Testing approach definition for infrastructure/connectivity/security/performance/DR

Stakeholder coordination/management for cutover and hypercare
