Informatica IDMC (CDGC) Data Catalog / Data Governance Consultant

Hire a 5–7 years professional to lead end-to-end implementation of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC). The role focuses on configuring metadata ingestion/scanning, profiling, classification, business glossary, and end-to-end lineage/impact analysis across enterprise sources (databases, DWH, BI, ETL, cloud storage, SaaS). The person will integrate CDGC with platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, ADLS, S3, Oracle/SQL Server/SAP, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), using Informatica Secure Agents for secure connectivity, and partner with governance teams to define catalog standards and stewardship workflows.

Lead end-to-end implementation of Informatica Cloud Data Catalog (CDGC) and related IDMC services.

Configure metadata ingestion, profiling, scanning, classification, and lineage capabilities.

Set up and manage metadata extraction from databases, data warehouses, BI tools, ETL platforms, cloud storage, and SaaS applications.

Implement automated data discovery, data classification, and business glossary integration.

Configure technical and business metadata repositories.

Collaborate with data governance teams to establish data cataloging standards and best practices.

Define and implement data stewardship workflows.

Develop business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata standards.

Support data governance initiatives by enabling data ownership, stewardship, and policy management.

Configure and validate end-to-end data lineage across data platforms.

Enable impact analysis for business and technical stakeholders.

Document source-to-target mappings and metadata relationships.
