GIS / Digital Twin Consultant (ArcGIS, QGIS, Smart Cities)

Contract role in Ahmedabad for a 5–8 year GIS/Geospatial professional to support government/public sector engagements across GIS and Digital Twin workstreams. The role focuses on building GIS maps/dashboards/web apps and spatial visualizations using ArcGIS (Pro/Online/Enterprise) and/or QGIS; performing spatial analysis and geospatial data management; managing spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server) and enterprise geodatabases; and supporting 3D GIS/Digital Twin solutions for smart cities and infrastructure. Strong documentation skills (DPR/RFP/specs), stakeholder workshops, and proposal/supporting consulting deliverables are expected, with preferred exposure to BIM-GIS, IoT geospatial solutions, web frameworks, cloud GIS, and remote sensing.

What You'll Be Doing.

Support GIS and Digital Twin workstreams across government and public sector engagements

Develop GIS maps, dashboards, web applications, and spatial visualizations using ArcGIS (Pro, Online, Enterprise) and QGIS Perform spatial analysis, geocoding, georeferencing, geospatial data management, and database administration

Support the design and implementation of 3D GIS and Digital Twin solutions for Smart Cities and infrastructure projects

Conduct geospatial data analysis, spatial modeling, and thematic mapping for urban planning and infrastructure applications

Manage spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server) and enterprise geodatabases

Develop web GIS applications and Location Intelligence solutions

Create technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and implementation specifications

Prepare project documentation, presentations, concept notes, DPRs, RFPs, business cases, and technical reports for client presentations

Assist in cost estimation, financial analysis, project planning, PMU support, and program monitoring activities

Support strategic roadmap development, digital transformation initiatives, and geospatial adoption frameworks for public sector clients

Engage with stakeholders for requirement gathering, workshops, solution design, and capacity-building activities

Support proposal development, solutioning, and business development initiatives
